Railmind joins the Railway Industry Association

We are pleased to share that Railmind is now a member of the Railway Industry Association (RIA), the UK rail supply sector’s trade body.

Founded in 1875, RIA represents organisations across the rail supply chain and works with Government, Parliament, rail clients and industry partners to support and advocate for its members.

Who are RIA

RIA brings together rail suppliers, innovators and rail delivery partners, providing a strong national and regional network, sector insight, and a programme of activity including networking and industry engagement.

RIA’s work spans areas including policy and public affairs, technical work and innovation, and exports, supported by events and information for members.

What this means for Railmind

Railmind exists to help the rail sector operate with confidence through cyber assurance across operational technology and digital systems, interactive support tools that guide teams through incidents and maintenance tasks, and communications that strengthen partnerships and build visibility.

Becoming an RIA member supports that mission in three ways.

1) Build on strong relationships

We already work closely with clients and partners across the sector. RIA membership helps us deepen those connections, meet more of the people shaping delivery, and create more opportunities for early, practical collaboration.

2) Stay close to the issues that matter

RIA’s advocacy and member networks help keep attention on the critical challenges and opportunities facing the sector, from long term investment and capability building, to innovation and skills. For Railmind, that means sharper context, better alignment, and more relevant work.

3) Contribute and share lessons learnt

RIA creates more opportunities to listen, participate and share delivery led perspectives through events, discussions and member activity. For Railmind, it is a practical way to give back and help shape better outcomes across the supply chain.

We are pleased to formalise our involvement through RIA membership and to take our place alongside the organisations delivering and shaping UK rail.
